ABOUT JUSTIN BUCHANAN KAYAK AND SHORE FISHING
I live on the south coast in Sussex and have been fishing on and off for a number of years until 2013 when I found my passion for the sport.
This passion was not just the connection with the sea, which I have had for many years or the catching of the fish but with the fulfilment of the peace and tranquillity I attain while sitting in solitude on a deserted beach or rock formation. For me this is and still is as important as watching the tip of your rod twitching then falling into the bowels of excitement in anticipation that this was going to be the “big” one. These moments of tranquillity obtained while living in a fast moving world send you into a calmness that we all seek in our dreams and creates pockets of time that are encased for eternity.
I don’t catch the “biggest fish” but have a steady record of a variety of different species but to me as well as the match angler “frenzy” achieved during competitions for which I have only done a few, I enjoy the experience of the chase.

SHORE FISHING
This was a quick session on an old pier head that I use occasionally but today was not good. Fished on an ebbing tide using rag and lug but the sea was giving up her treasures today.
